Yes, but the 10R speedo only has a techo dial up to 15K.
Our bikes rev to 20K.......
ZX6R's 03-06 only rev to 14,7krpm's in reality.
So it's possible to use a 10R speedo with corrected rpm's (stock gauges always show more!) and you would actually have "redline" at the end of the scale and shiftpoint where the red numbers start.
Have been thinking that kind of a swap for a while. Maybe some day...
It's reading overall value wrong. The speed sensor on 05/06 reads the pulses from a gear, and my guess is it's 6th-in from the pulse count, so you want to change the "Pulse" value on the program to 27.

I had gotten it to work by changing the ratios (I scaled them by approx. 0.87) but I was still unclear on why that was necessary.

Just received my 07 gauge today, getting everything installed and tested/setup Saturday on the track bike. Can't wait to have a real analog gauge on the track bike! Just in time for my next track weekend on 11/3&4.
And just to note, Extr400's support has been outstanding so far. This last update came about because I run a 190/55 on the track bike so he made the changes and put the files out ASAP. Two thumbs up!!

I have an 08 speedo with this adaptor installed on my 03 zx6r. My question is, do any of you guys have issues with inconsistent reading from the speedo? If I hold a constant speed/rpm, the speedo will jump from say, 65/64 to 70 then back to 65, almost as if the speed healer function cuts out for a split second and then comes back. This happens in all gear but is most noticeable in 5th/6th.
I also get crazy high speed readings when rolling the bike with the engine off in reverse, say out of a parking spot. I will see 1/2 then it will jump to like 85, 55, and back to 2. Pretty odd. I'm using the 03 -1+2 preset with the latest software and hex. Do I need to play with the pulse setting for the speedo? Thanks!
I'm 'hadfield' on zx6r.com - and nope, no issues at all, mine rocks. The only thing I'd change is that the gear indicator is half a second behind when I change gears... not a major issue at all given that I got used to not having it in the first place.

Did you reduce the gear averages numbers (all three of them) to half or a quater of there default values. The new programmer does this for you on the 03/04 bike setting and gives a faster response when you change gear.

Hey Tim, I didnt think you were available until March or I would have just emailed you directly. I will double check all of my connections, but everything else seems to work flawlessly and consistently so Im not sure... I will check my speed sensor harness under the seat first, as I did have to uninstall my speedohealer. If that doesnt help, I will check all my connections in the nose and get back to you. Thanks!
