Help, lost my only "GAS TANK KEY" Read....

A few months ago I sold my gas tank cause it had a dent on it. I asked my friend to pick it up at my house to go ship it, and i totally forgot I didnt take off the gas cap.

I got another gas cap from my friend who totalled his 636. He gave me his key.

So I lost my gas cap key.

What do i do????

I'm not sure what your question is.

Other than having a different key to start the bike and open the gas tank.

You said that you have a new gas cap with a new key so you're set right?

??

Yeah, about sums up the thread. Sorry for your misfortune. Is 2 seperate keys a big deal to you. I know you would prefer one.

Making love to the money...

call the locksmith bro...
not much else you can do.
might be cheaper if you bring the tank to him.

FWIW, i thought the question was simple.

Could you not just remove the gas tank cap entirely and uh replace it with a non-locking one?
