I've been rebuilding my bike into a track only bike, I know I am a little late to this but I just found out about the servo buddy. But my real question is about the throttle buddy that is on the same site as the servo buddy. I did a search and couldn't find much on it, has any one done this mod? It sounds interesting to me, pick up some power and lose some weight for under $100. I know the bike will have to be tuned immediately after install but that is not a problem, just wondering if this is a reliable and practical upgrade. The website for the part is Throttle Buddy

all it does is prevent ur bike from throwing codes after you remove the secondary butterflies

you lose bottom end power and gains some hp up top - meant more for track than the street

There really isn't much benefit to removing the butterflies. You loose a little in the bottom end and the gains are all in the top end and not that much. I still have them in my 636 track bike and won't be removing them. Unless you are racing, there really isn't a need and even then it's questionable IMO. It would really depend on the tracks you ride and each track is going to be different as to what the bike wants and needs.
