Bike has been sitting in my garage for 2 1/2 years

I've had some medical issues / surgeries that have prevented me from being able to ride my bike for the past 2 1/2 years. I'm just now able to start riding again and I'm wondering what prep / maintanece I should do to my bike before getting back out on the road. The bike is stored in my garage on race stands so the tires won't have flat spots but I'm curious if the rubber will still be good. I put those tires on new about 1,000 miles before I stopped riding it. I keep the battery on a battery tender so that is not an issue and I plan to give it an oil change and flush the coolant and brake fluid. Anything else that I should consider before taking it back on the road. I live in NJ and obviously our winters are very cold so I would typically start the bike and let it run for a few minutes every few weeks or so but I wasn't able to do it during this past winter so I'm wondering if I should take any precautions before just turning it over and trying to start it after it has sat for roughly the past year without being started.

Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom. - it's good to be back on the forum and to be riding again soon.

Okay, thanks for the tip - I'll be sure to inspect the tires and take it easy on them until I know they are up to par.

To recap:
- change oil
- change brake fluid
- change coolant
- swap out gas with new - or at least run fuel system cleaner and fuel additive

What about my suspension? Anything I should do there or be mindful of?
- do I need to do anything with my forks like swap out the oil - my bike is an 05 and I've never had that done so it's probably time anyway

Thanks for all of the feedback.

One more thing - I have been doing some service to my bike in getting it ready for the road again and whenever I start it and let it run for a few minutes the temps seem to climb up to 170 or more - I don't remember where my temps used to be as a normal range - the indicator light hasn't come on yet so I should be good but I'm wondering what is normal temp range for 05' 6R and at what temp should the fan kick on? Thanks.
