I've installed my CC rearset adjuster and I have a problem with the adjustability..
For the brake side, I can only mount it on the rear most position because of where the brake light switch is, I cannot move it forward at all.. Can anyone help, am I suppose to relocate the brake light switch? maybe I'm missing something here?
Pic to describe the situation..
KneeDragger, where's your brake light switch in this pic?

ps. For the lower mounting point of the original rearset, I know you need to grind the back side to move it forward, but that's not the problem I'm facing..

Can't bring in the pegs closer, since the resistance spring is in the way!?!?!
So no choice but to have the sets on the last row! Haing known this, I wouldn't of grinded the back of them!
In conclusion, if you can find a way to place the spring else where, then this is an awesome purchase, since their is a multitude of places to put the pegs.... but if not, then you might as well go with Concept 5150, since you'll be paying more and not be able to use all the options of placing your pegs!
I still like them... Will try to figure something out with the spring!

For the spring, I think you can try hooking it into one of the rearmost holes on the CC adjuster, instead of the hook on the original rearset...
Otherwise, happy with the product, very happy with Cyclecontrol's customer service, quick email reply, fast delivery, shipment arrived before expected, not bad for shipping from US to a small Asian country.. Highly recommended..

I removed the bracket that holds the rear brake light switch, since my bike will only be for track use!!! Sorry... no solution but...
You can always put ur switch else where and just get a safety-wire to do the distance, for the light to activate on the switch.
If you know you are suppose to grind the back of the rearsets, then you should know u need to do the same with that piece that holds the light switch, since it's thicker then the rearset. it won't go any further up, if you leave it there, so u do need to grind it off.
I grinded everything off and got my rearsets and foot pegs powdercoated

so i just installed mine and it was a breeze becuase i have a bench grinder. i zip tied the rear brake light and left it disconnected because i dont know who brakes using only their rear brake.
however when i installed the brake pedal spring it was rubbing on the adjuster (like kneedragger stated) but it still functioned. In the middle of a ride on the highway i felt something hit my leg that came from the bike so i pulled over and checked and what do you know the spring flew off. however the pressure from the fluid keeps the pedal in the upright position and when i push it down it comes right back up then i noticed my bros cbr with woodcraft rearsets has no springs either. Should i be concerned?

get rid of the rear brake switch, you dont need it. your gonna use the front brake and that will trigger the brake light

In most cases yes. I havent run a spring in my last 4 bikes because I always used after market rearsets.

brake return spring is really just to return your brake pedal to the highest resting position, so you can tune the brake light sensor to activate as soon as you touch the pedal. It will not affect rear breaking at all. I would yank it off and remove the rear brake light sensor also.
