If my bike has been sitting in the sun in 90 or 100 degree weather it doesn't start very well. I have to hold the starter in longer and it seems to barely start. After a few moments of running it sounds normal.
Same thing used to happen to my 06. I started using a fuel additive called Fuel Power FP60 and it stopped completely. It also made my buddy's CEL in his Integra go away, heh.

Same thing happens to me bro when my bike sits in the heat for awhile, have no idea why this happens, but giving it some gas while holding the starter button usually works for me...
I always have this problem and its a pain living in AZ where it gets hotter then hell, I usually have to give it allot of gas to get it to start but Ill start to open to fuel cap now..thx got2go
