Just starting this thread to see if i should take the time to set up and make youtube videos about the 2007-08 zx6r. i just bought my bike in early October and as of now i dont have much money left over to buy parts..i am a college student too doesn't help much...but this summer i would be planning on doing a decent amount of mods... with that said i just wanted to get feedback whether i people here would be interested in videos on mods and how toos (giving all credit to DIY found on Kawi forums)
Made the page last night probably wont be able to make a video till thanksgiving because my bike is at home and i go to school in New Hampshire... YouTube - TheZX6RMechanic1's Channel
Please Subscribe and hopefully when i upload videos they will go under your subscriptions new videos
I will be be making a video on thanksgiving weekend consisting of an overview of what my goal is and an overview of my bike.. i prob wont be able to buy parts to make the videos untill january when i have winter break and can work..
nice, subscribed. not bashing or anything, but if u really plan on doing some good DIY get a better camera and couple good camera stands/tripods so that will make it easier for u.
Thanks for the advice but any extra money i have is going into the bike in one way or the other (insurance, gas.....), il just have to make due.... just did frame sliders boy was that a mess the right motor mount bolt stripped and i snapped two bolt extractors, apparently its a common issue with the 07-08 zx6r
Very good video, you need to relocate your rear reservoir, is a very simple task, I have seen many diy but never a vid, again very simple, it may help some people.
so i think thats it for this winter... i may do some mods in march when i come home for spring break but if not hopefully i will have some money and ideas for the summer... if nothing new i got a k & N filter waiting in my room... oil change... brake bleeding.. coolant tail light tinting.. thanks guys for watching and subscribing
