did you ever get your question answered? I've got an 07 ZX6R as well and am trying to find out if a front wheel from a 2000 will fit.

im also in the market for a new front wheel but as far as I know the wheels with the same spoke design will fit so older model zx6s will work and zx10s as well....

the older ZX6R wheels should fit, provided you use the spacers and rotors for that wheel

Default zzr600 front wheel work?

00-02 wheel WITH rotors and spacers will fit. 03/04 wheel (looks same as 00-02, but is different) will fit with 03/04 spacers, but will also take your wave rotors, 00-02 will not. I suggest getting an 03/04 wheel and spacers so you won't have to buy rotors also.

Remember that the spacers for the year model wheel you want are needed (unless you get the six spoke wheel 05-12, then you only need the wheel).
