Default Official Jumper Mod Thread

Ok I know this has been discussed before but when I took my seat off I couldn't relate to the pictures. Can someone confirm the actual procedure and where the wires are located. Which wire go get spliced. Pictures would also be extremelly helpful. And please, anything related to the jumper mod should be posted here (questions, concerns, pictures, etc...) Thanks in advance for all the contributions

It is exactly the same there isn't anything done different on that bike or the 07...
Just remove side plastics to take off front seat.
Remove both seat bolts and remove seat.
Tucked under the seat on the brake side of the bike there is a 4 pin connector thats just capped.
Jump the green/green wire and the black/yellow wires across with 16 gauge wire and put cap on.
Make sure cap locks back on.
Install your seat and plastics and enjoy the extra ponies....

I own 2 07's one with and one without. Riding beside my brother we are dead even till we hit 10k-11k rpms then ill just walk away from him. He is also 15lbs lighter than I am.

I took my seat off the other day to just look for this connector. I think I found it, but it's ziptied to parts of the bike. Is that true for you or? My looks kinda gray.

I got a question, anyone know where you can get one of the actual wires for this jumper?? I wanna replace my crappy wire with the real deal!? I know a guy on the forums has them and will ship em to you for a small price or free, but I don't remember who...?

I am using an insulated paper clip. The ends have no insulation and the mod works as I have proven it with a dyno.
