What am I looking to pay?
When buying a new bike, I couldn't pass up the 7200 OTD of the 09 6r, but I originally was going to pay MSRP for a new Z1k.
I still want that Z1k!
My main concerns:
1. Cost
2. The front air duct being blocked by head light
3. Need a functional headlight that isn't shit
4. Guages placement?
5. No clue about wire and hose tucking.
Was going to go on a streetfighter forum but my bike is fine as it is now, stock, and I'm not HXC into creating a super-fighter, just something that looks like a basic Z1k.

Cost: Cost isn't that bad considering you can sell your fairings, headlight, etc. You could see what the parts are going for and see what you need to spend for new parts. I'm guessing $500-$1000 depending on what you use. If you like the clip ons you'll save quite a bit of money leaving them alone.
Air Duct: Mine is blocked on my 05 and I can't tell a difference. I did have to trim the frame down though to make it look right (not sure how far 09 sticks out).
Headlight: Tons of options - a decent looking and functional one will cost you $250-500.
Gauges: They are small so no problem tucking them somewhere. Have to do a custom mount.
