I'd have to agree with you that, bleeding it and topping it off. when my kawi was in the shop this summer I took my 1krr to the track, less than a year old so it had regular dot 4 in it, when I changed out the brake fluid last weekend it was a nasty beer color, by the calipers but only about an inch and a half of tubing worth.

I use synthetic amsoil, swap out every 5-10 track days (sometimes I'm lazy). Never had a problem with gsxrs or my 09 zx6r. I bleed brakes before every track day.
