Hey socal ninja, they are interchangeable and i really appreciate the gesture but i still have my stock windscreen and i am not gonna need the muffler or fender. But thanks again! I also want say thanks again for all the supportive and helpful responses you guys posted. Very cool.
So a little update on the rebuild of my bike and shoulder..I had reconstructive shoulder surgery on Oct. 24th where they took a cadavers hamstring tendon to attach and realign the bones. It was fairly brutal and i recommend trying to avoid it.
i still feel lucky, because if i didn't have my jacket on(Icon arc stealth) i probably would of needed a new elbow as well. I will always wear my gear now! And i also won't be trying to pull the front wheel up while coming out of a turn still on the sidewall. (at least not on the street)haha.
As for the bike, I have some time to get it back together but i've already had some luck obtaining some parts needed. I got a rear brake pedal from member Wickedj for $20 shipped(slightly grounded edge). Thanks J! I also found a practically new idle gear cover on ebay for $25 shipped, and here's the best part..the seller shipped me another customers package by accident and when i let him know about it and offered to forward the package for him he was so thankful that he refunded me the $25! The next couple of parts i need to focus on are a set of clip-ons and the starter clutch cover so i can fire this bad boy back up. I am gonna take the advice of an earlier post and disassemble the Akra muffler and cut it down a couple inches and see if i can get a new inlet cap and retaining bracket from Akrapovic since they sell all the individual parts.
It's good to be back on the forum guys, have fun out there but keep in mind how fast shit can turn on you.
