Just learn how to properly blip the throttle on your down shifts (while braking), the tail won't step out (this is the proper way to downshift). Slipper clutches were invented for tards who can't do this, or if you make a mistake.

you callin me a tard?? Lol. I do blip and I still get it, my suspension guy has looked at it, I've changed downshifting habits etc.. Next up kit clutch recommendation

Agreed to a point. Slipper clutch allows those who don't know how to blip/rev match, to ride without crashing.
However our ZX600R has "adjustable clutch" for a reason. (The new ZX636 doesn't have adjustable clutch.)
Having said that, I used to do clutchless up AND down shifts. As the pace goes up now I have to use the clutch for downshifts as well as suspension tuning to keep the rear from creating a mess.
And I already rode a ZX-6R with the clutch adjusted slightly. There is a difference even for proficient and fast rider. But it won't help a noob.
