I was barely accepted for the 2012, my credit is new which is just as bad as bad. So i had to put 2,000 down and my payments and apr are through the roof.

So to answer your question i wasnt accepted.

How? I thought Kawasaki's lenders had fixed interest rates around 7.9%.

Its not through Kawasaki its just a motorcycle loan place that the dealer i went to uses for bad credit and no credit customers.

Cool bike, congrats. I feel this bike may not have been a healthy financial decision if you only put $2k down on a $10k bike and have a high interest rate.

Id say its a great bike out of the box, don't waste your money on mods, use that money to pay for the bike, or you will surely be upside down on it in short order.

I am a Debbie Downer, I know, but you couldn't afford the bike, so you cannot afford farkles, that is the truth.

Financing a bike on terrible credit with a high interest rate? ISHYGDDT.

Why not just buy a bike that you could afford to pay for outright?

I agree I've seen used 09s (the same exact bike as the 12) for 7k and less. Hell I got my 09 zx6 track bike last year for 5500...
