Kawasaki actually breaks in the engine on the dyno at the factory in Japan before they crate the bike up and send it to the states. You don't need to break it in slow, but it won't hurt it if you do. Bought my 09 zx6r street bike for $6k cash, bought my 09 zx6r race bike for $3500 (cash). My credit rating is ghetto, so I have to use cash unfortunately, but at least i don't get raped on interest!
I'm starting to order track parts for my bike now and install since winter is here, use my 6r for track only and 10r for daily. always liked the 600 class over the 1000 on the track.

Would you recommend a upgraded master cylinder with the line upgrade?
If you're racing, or think their is a remote possibility of it, make sure you're looking at your organization's rules on that. Most of them are okay with it if its the same bore x stroke.
I've never had an issue with my brakes. At the last race at TWS, I actually ran a faster lap than the guy that won superbike C. Difference being I started in the second to last row...haha.
Point being, for me, master cylinder would be one of the last things I replace. Put that money towards suspension and case covers. Then get the master cylinder.

What type of suspension would you recommend for a 11 zx-6r?

all depends on the pace you carry, there is no definite answer to this, the rear shock on these bikes are pretty bad, look towards a penske or an ohlins. the forks could prob get you buy until you get faster, i personally hate the stock forks, ran a set my last event as it was more of shaking the bike down since the frame replacement, got a crap load of chatter from them and just couldn't get them right per say. wera won't let a brembo in some classes so the above info is correct, i'm a pretty late braker & like knowing that the lever will be the same from start to finish on a day
The suspension on my bike is whatever I found used
I found an Ohlins rear shock off an 06 zx6. Had it rebuilt. Total cost was about $750. My forks are still stock. I get chatter, but I'm used to it. I recently bought some AK20's in the forks for $600. They need to be rebuilt. I'll be running the stock stuff until I can get some more money. Hopefully March-ish.

Yea there is usually some pretty good deals that come around this time. A new Penske is about $810 and they work great, I know a lot of fast guys on them. The only tough part is that a lot of these parts are going to transfer over to the '13 zx6r unless they changed the fork diameter which would just be a dick move lol. If they didn't you'll see ppl hanging on to them and just swap them out in the triples. That and a 5mm spacer for the forks will be cheaper than a new set of cartridges.
