I'm guessing you're replacing the frame?
How have you managed not to bend forks yet? haha
Good luck on the rebuild! I don't plan on crashing my bike, so I'll just live through your experiences...haha

Golf is for pussies, tiger woods got beat up by a girl
frame was already replaced, it was fucked to say the least, two upper motor mounts dont touch the ground at the same time LOL, forks were fucked, but only damaged the damping rods so a $40 fix & a swap to a new set of forks. they were pretty bad, 80 thousands out on the one leg & 57 thousands out on the other..
Fwiw.. i've never planned to crash, two were my fault & two were just wrong place wrong time, the oil spill collected 3 other bikes within 25 seconds

haha. I hope you didnt plan on crashing...lol. I've been lucky enough to manage not to hit the ground yet on the track. Most people don't believe me when I say I've never crashed on the track. I'm the fastest person that I know of that can say that.
I was really scared when I got my new paint job. There's been more than a handful of people that got new paint jobs, then go down in the next few track days. A buddy of mine had never crashed, would have been a contender for the novice championship had he made all the rounds. Gets a new paint job. Doesn't realize his warmers were off. He was instructing and went out for the warm up lap on a mock race. Wrecks. EXACT same thing happened to another friend of mine. I mean literally. If he has wrecked, it must have been over 2-3 years ago. Gets new paint job, doesnt realize the switch on his warmers was off, wrecks on the warm up lap of a mock race he was instructing.
Another friend of mine got a new paint job, did this to it:
So I think I've overcome the new paint curse now. haha
No injuries from all these wrecks?

I didn't crash for 5 solid years of track riding... then forgot to check the tire pressure on the front after a loooooooong winter. Crashed. Adjusted pressures, crashed again. Same corner, same day, 3 sessions apart. It happens... first crashed only grazed crash knobs. On the second crash I was carrying some pace and there went my brand new rearset and quickshifter sensor... all in all, still lucky! Believe it or not, only the bellypan touched the tarmac, so no need to get a new paint job either!
Having said that, a friend of mine does car graphics (vinyl and whanot) and offered to do my bike on the cheap. I can even pick whatever I want from the net and he'll replicate it! Now I'm just waiting till I crash again before taking him on that offer!
