Default KZ 750 Bobber

just finished up my first project bike. bought a 1980 kz750 and chopped it up. had some internal engine problems and eventually switched out the motor for a '83 gpz750 motor. threw on some pod air filters and modified the carbs with a stage 3 dynojet kit. also, fabricated the battery box out of scratch and had some other parts laying around that worked out really well.

let me know what you all think!

Looks good. I'm in the middle of a 81 cb750chop now. Is this gonna be a work in progress bike or do you feel like this is the endpoint?

Cool Good to see someone else Ripping an old KZ a New one....I say keep the low bars unless you find something really comfortable....Comfort doesn't seem to be your biggest concern tho

Default fuel gauge

just added a "fuel gauge" to the side of my tank. had a buddy of mine welded some threaded pipe onto the side and then i bought some brass fittings to hold the fuel line in place. still have to refinish the clear coat though. next project is to raise the bars up!

lemme know what you all think!

Default brake fluid advice

hey guys. I recently bought a new front brake master cylinder and it calls for DOT 5 brake fluid. Ive been using DOT 3 brake fluid and i was wondering if the DOT 5 fluid would be fine with my '83 ZX750 brake lines. Also, im assuming if i get the DOT 5 fluid, that i would need to completely clear out the lines, so they dont mix.

any suggestions or tips would be appreciated.

thanks!
