Spark Plugs

Just purchased 08 C14 with 7400 mi. on the clock. While looking over the maintenance sched. I see Kawi. calls for the spark plugs to be changed every 7500 mi. WHAAAAAT?? My normal service routine is every 15K -16K. At what mileage has anyone had a plug fail? Tell me it isn't so.

I went to the stealership at 7500 miles and asked if the plugs needed to be replaced at 7500 miles and they told me change them at 12,000. Now I'm on the internet looking for the best price/plug to make my Connie purr.

I'd do it just to be up on the maintenance, plugs aren't usually that much, "usually".

All this is just ADVICE because at the end of the day, you can do whatever the FUCK you wanna do.

Whore your slut out

4 iridium plugs can be had for about 40 bucks on eBay.

I think 7,500 miles is ridiculous, especially for OEM Iridiums. I've got 25K on my original plugs and maybe I'll worry about them at 50K.
