Personal I HATE the shinko, but i know many that swear by it. Im using the Metzler Drag Tech. (sponsor buys them for me). I love it, and I run about 12 psi. Note that it only comes in a 190, which sux. But he's switching me over to the Mickey Tompson drag radial for the next tire, cause they are ALOT cheaper.

The Drag Tech is a very good tire, I personally have had very good luck with the Michelin Pilot Pilot Race 3 (PR3 soft) You'll have to find a vendor that deals with the road race crowd. You have to have a license to sell these.

For the big power bikes the M/T is the class standard but they have monopolized the market in Pro Street and similar street tire classes. Recently the Michelin Pilot One has been putting down some amazing numbers for a tire designed for road course racing. It went 7.27@199 with a 1.25 60ft, 3.26 330ft. Very impressive, I read that it has 1/4in more roll out then the M/T on a 6.75in.

shinko is a very good tire, its a lil on the heavy side but alot of dragracers use them & for the money you can't beat em, also alot of big motor guys with turbos & nitrous have been in the 7's in the 1/4 with these tires

Thanks everybody for the reply,

I made some tests with my extended swingarm (+6in) and i have some traction problem. I want try some 1/4 mile passe, but i think i will need a drag radial tire . Could you tell me what is the tire pressure for the track. Thanks

It's a little video for show my traction problem. After this test, i lowered the boost from 11 psi to 9,5 psi and the traction is ok.

depends on your tire. i used to run a shink(not the u soft) i had to run 12-13lbs to get it to hook. if i were going to get the shinko it would be a u soft. now i have a mich. power race soft compound and i can run 20 lbs aslong as the track is half decent. my next tire will be the dragtec. have you adjusted the rear shock any, to get it to hook better?
