Thumbs up Quickest and fastest SWB 600cc in O.Z.

Gday all.

An update on my 09 ZX6's times.

A couple of weeks ago I managed 9.87 @ 138.8mph and 9.89 @ 141.8mph.

That made the bike the first aspirated stock swingarm 600cc streetbike to run into the 9.80's and over 140mph in Australia.

The engine is still all stock apart from the secondary butterflies and shaft assembly removed. 175/177 pounds rider suited.

Wow! Awesome job. Looks like your making some great power judging by the MPH too!

The two slips below and a pic of the bike now. The 9.87 pass caught the limiter in top gear just before the line through my fault so the speed was back a little compared to the 9.89.

I did have it 1.58 60ft but struggled with a wheelie so it killed the ET a bit. That would of been a quick pass.

Not necessarily, its all in the rider.
I saw a stock wheelbase bike run 8.75@163.12 MPH 1/4 Mile

Here is an action pic.

Very happy with that poofbegone. Still a bit more there yet as you can see. Just keep fine tuning things and the riding part as well.

I race it in a stock arm streetbike class very similar to the old super sport 600cc class AMA had over there. (0 - 640cc capacity) which it now holds both ends of the national record for. Great little bikes man.

onel0wcubn I run +8 on the rear. 3.18 ratio. Perfect on the ZX6 for 1/4 mile. Gives the chain a nice arc as well. -1 front +5 rear is close as well. 3.2 ratio. The 3.18 just gives you that tiny bit more up your sleeve in top gear at the finish line if you need it. Thats with a 170/60 profile tire by the way.
