Help new winter rider

Hi all,

This is my first year riding. Have racked up over 5k in about 6 months. Heading into riding all winter. I just bought some Dainese Scout gloves. I measure about 8.25 (small=8 Medium=8.5). I ordered medium reading reviews that they run small. When I got them in the mail they seemed snug, maybe too snug. I was on the road last night at 12am and it was 39F out. Got home after 30 minutes of riding 70mph on the freeway. Fingers were cold. Not numb but cold. Today on my way to work (10 minutes, 42F, 40mph) got there and my fingers were a little cold.

Is this normal? Do I just need something heated at these temps? Or are they too snug reducing circulation to my fingers? I don't really know how tight winter gloves should be.

Thanks for the help
