In the market for a new jacket. Finals came around and I sold all my student books to amazon so now I have a sweet 500$ gift card although I paid almost 1500 for them, at-least I got something. So im looking for a new jacket.
I have alpinestars gloves, and a icon helmet, an alpinestars mesh jacket, and a speed and strength mesh jacket. I am looking for a leather jacket to ride durring the cooler months, Id only be riding in about lets say 45 deg. anything under that and im probably not gonna leave the house. Any recommendations? I dont have any experience at all with leather motorcycle jackets. What have you guys had good luck with? or things I should avoid?

Alpinestars or Dainese make great stuff in leather. I'd stay away from Joe Rocket leather stuff. Icon is a cost effective alternative to Alpinestars or Dainese. I've owned Icon stuff (leathers) before and it's decent if you can get past the biker boyz/bling aspect.

Look up the Axo Byway leather jacket. I just got it for Christmas (I had to crack open the box when no one was home and try it on).

That thing is hot shit. It's only $450 (though I got it for $225) and it fits perfectly.
