hi my name is mike. I'm 65yrs young and had not ridenn a bike for 35 yrs. I retirerd to Thailand 8yrs ago and bought a JRD 150cc. Two yrs on I bought a 550 Yamaha. Another two yrs on I bought a kawasaki vulcan classic 800cc. Three years later I bought BMW R1200C nice ride but bad move. Now I've just bought a Kawasaki 1500cc vulcan Mean Streak Modifed, or so I'm told. I have engine and frame numbers but no VIN. I was hoping this could be the place to find out all the things I want. The bike is great supposed to be 2004. I have all import papers but they say very little. Anyway I am looking foreward to being part of your group

I found a 1982 LTD 440 at an aucton. It must have been stored in a controlled area. It had 2,800 miles on it. One ding, looked as if a rider ddropped it and then was not interested in becoming a rider. Other than that slight ding in the tank it is perfect. Replaced tires, oil and fuel. Runs like new, actually it is 30 year old new.

I need one thing for the bike. THE BUTTON THAT ACTAVATES THES STARTER I am using a dowel that I shove aainst the spring and off it goes...a little unhandy but it works. would like to aquire what I need , IE I think the entire section where the button is attached.

    Please E mail vmauk@twcny.rr.com
