It might be more of a "want what you don't have" kind of thing but I'm just not loving the CBR right now so I feel like I'm just putting my time in before I make the jump to a 600.
1)The CBR has better torque but it also seems to buck around more than the Ninja when I get on and off the throttle so it's hard to ride smoothly without getting pitched around with even a slight throttle movement.
2) the seat is more uncomfortable than the Ninja and the seating position is more upright, both negatives for me.
3) above about 50-60mph the wind buffets around my neck and shoulders, Ninja directed more air at or over my head.
4) it's difficult to pump gas into the CBR without spraying down the tank as well.
The CBR is not a bad bike, I just think the higher-revving Ninja was more along the lines of what i would prefer. The Honda has a nicer dashboard and fuel injection but the Ninja felt more like a sport bike while the CBR seems to be more of a commuter/cruiser type, at least to me.
