Hi there everyone.

I Recently purchased a 1992 zx600 d2 which had been left standing for a year or so.
Cleaned the carbs and fuel tank right out (both were a mess) everything runs ok now but both fuel lights won't stop flashing even though there are 5 litres of fresh fuel in it??

Also there is a pipe on the bottom right hand side of the carbs that is not connected. someone has stuck a bolt on the end of the pipe to block it off and left it hanging. runs ok without it connected and it looks like it was done on purpose but it bugs me that I don't know why or what it's for.

Any help will be appreciated.

Fuel light I would guess that your sensor is stuck or bad. Or not pluged in. The line were does it come from and run to. Could just be the float bowl line that take the over flow to the grown. If that's the line you should be able to fallow it down the back of the motor along the frame between the swing ARM.

Thinking about it, it could be the sensor in the tank as I have had the tank off and cleaned it out. The bike had been sitting for 2 years before I got it and was full of crap. wiring is all sound and checked/double checked.
Right pain in the arse!
Still looking for a cheap replacement stator too!
