Talking 06 zx6r won't start after 30 mph drop

Ok I own a 2006 zx6r special edition. I ended up dropping the bike around 30 mph. The stator cover cracked and let out all the oil. Due to low funds I had it sit for 10 months. I replaced the stator cover and added new oil but the bike won't start. All the electrical works fine when I turn the key. When I hit the ignition it just buzzes around the seat area and does not start. Any advice?

Has the battery been on a tender?

You're going to have to charge the battery.

I've had it charging for around 3 hours with no luck. I'll try replacing the whole thing. Thanks

A good charger for you battery should charge at between 0.5 and 1 amp/hour. It works out so that you're probably going to need to leave it on the charger for at least 10 hours to get a full charge into it.

I'd do that before I tried replacing the battery. If you want too you can check the voltage across the battery terminals, it should be above 12.8volts at rest after it's finished charging and has sat for about 30 minutes. If you can't hit that then you know you need a new battery.
