Default Hello everybody!
Hi everyone!

I'm Scott from the glorious Northwest of the UK!

Obviously I'm new to the forum, but I'm also relatively new to motorcycling. Around 12 months ago, after becoming fed up with cars, I decided to invest in a 125cc scooter for a bit of cheap fun when off work, and was instantly hooked on the world of two wheels and it's been a bit of an obseesion ever since!

Within 6 months the scooter was a distant memory and I took ownership of rather nifty 1998 ZX6-R, admittedly in shoddy condition but with a beautifully maintained engine and at a bargain price.

Since having the bike I've treated it to a full respray in Ford Performance Blue Metallic, and added a few cheap replacement parts such as double bubble screen, grips, hugger etc but for the moment that is all as I don't have the deepest of pockets!

Hope to get some pictures up soon, and look forward to taking some advice from those who know better!

I very rarely take photos, like ever, so I will have to pull my finger out and get some taken in the coming weeks, and then in the following weeks get round to uploading them!

The weather here in the North West is just about perfect for an inexperienced rider to get to grips with a ZX6-R. DAS should include a pre-dawn ride on damp roads with icy patches.
