i asked if there were any riders nearby still no answer
i would just like a friend or too is that too much to ask?

Hello? This IS an Internet forum and at 1pm PST people are often times at jobs/school/etc. Sometimes people aren't busy and you'll get a dozen responses in short order and others you'll pose a question and not get a single response for 8 hours. Same when people ask questions at 1am when they screwed something up on their bike and get mad when most anyone is asleep and not answering their questions.

dont want to run you off you from this forum cause im still here but i understand exactly how you feel...This place is a piece of crap when it comes to welcoming new members..lol..i didnt and still dont feel that warmth that i felt in other forums when i was new, im still around because i like to participate in the threads and honestly even though for welcoming this place is garbage there is a lot of good information here.
