I'm new to Kawasaki, but after tonight I'll be a full-fledged, life-long member after I get my new 2013 Ninja 650 tattooed on my body for all to see my dedication to this brand.
I rode a cheap Chinese 250cc(236cc) motorcycle for about two weeks before I needed something larger. I purchased a 1997 Honda CBR 600F3 for $500 that had been stunted and wrecked. I stripped it down and restored it. The rush that comes from these mid-sized bikes is something I'll never let go of.
After a few months of riding this CBR I got a little weary of always having to fix something and purchased this 2013 Ninja 650. I went in expecting to purchase the 2013 Ninja 300. I didn't think I could afford the insurance on a street-sport or super-sport bike, but the salesman showed me otherwise.
My fiancee and I got free Icon Alliance Helmets with the purchase. She wanted an excuse to use her helmet so we rode the night I brought it home. I just did my 600 mile oil change and over half of those miles have been with the both of us on it. She now has a passion for motorcycles so I bought her a wrecked 2001 CBR 600F4i.
This Ninja has brought my fiancee and I closer together and is slowly becoming my mistress. I hope everyone else is enjoying it as much as I am. Now I've just got to go fix that annoying front end rattle.
