Decay has at least 10 rep points
Default Dirty rims
How do you clean your colored rims? Seems like every time I lube my chain the rims get dirty and can't get into the center to clean them. Any advice?

Take Simple Green (don't dilute it) and spray the wheel down. Let it dry completely. Then take a rag and wipe the wheel down; the grease comes off in a dust. Rinse the wheel again with water and it'll be clean.

I've tried using Simple Green when it was still wet and it was a major bitch. Let it dry though, and the grease comes right off.

I Just use wd40 oil spray some on a rag or cloth wipe off the muck just don't get it on your tyre !

Yep WD-40... it smears at first but after getting most of the dirt of, just keep rubbing off the smears with a fresh paper towel. the WD-40 residue will do the job.

I got yellow rims. PITA but so pretty once they shine back in bright yellow.
