i messed up a bearing in my engine idk which would be easier or cheaper to replace that or get a whole new engine?

I would recommend getting another engine...
the repair of the bearings alone might not correct any other damage from when the bearing failed, if that is what happened??
and finding a reputable, experienced, capable mechanic is difficult.

even the dealer had rebuilt a warranted engine three times for us before replacing it with another

its possible they/someone could repair it, give it to you, and then while driving down the road, "kaboom",... start all over again, $$$

and finding a motor can be a pain too...
