Hi all, live in the UK. Recently passed my CBT and theory test. Got my module 1 training this Saturday and test next Tuesday. I've got a 2011 ER6F with 275 miles waiting for me in the garage, it's killing me looking at it everyday but hopefully I'll have passed module 1 & 2 within the next couple of weeks. Any comments welcome.

I'll definitely get some pics up soon, fitting my sliders this weekend (hopefully I won't have to test them). Failed module 1 due to a silly mistake on the figure of 8, otherwise was perfect . Retake on Monday.

Passed mod 1 , mod 2 training this Sunday and mod 2 test on Tuesday. Installed my sliders last weekend but when I went to start the bike up I found that one of the bulbs has gone , easy enough to change the headlight I take it?

Just slip a hand inside the fairing.

Be aware that there is an adapter on the bulb which converts the pinout to suit the Kawasaki harness - don't know why Kawasaki didn't just make the harness to fit.

Some owners have thrown the adapter away with the old bulb and struggled to understand why they couldn't connect the harness to the new bulb.

Good luck with the mod 2. How long do you have to wait before you can re-sit if you fail it? If you're under 24 and have to wait until after January 19th you come under the new rules. No pressure lol.

I'll have to wait 10 working days if I fail but I actually turn 24 at the end of December so the changes won't affect me . Just wanna pass asap and get out on the road!

Right, now I'm confused. Came to change the suspect headlight bulb and still the same issue with the new bulb.

As you sit on the bike, the left headlight only works on main beam and the right headlight only has dipped. I'm very confused...... Any ideas, am I missing something obvious?
