Depends on how much you want to spend of course. First thing first though. Buy all your gear, then update the bike. Boots save your ankles and shins. Gloves your hands. Helmet for your head. Ya know... The important stuff.

For the bike probably do the exhaust.

Congrats on the bike...how do you like it so far??? I wish they had the ninja 300 when I got my first bike, had to start with the 250 instead!

Agreed, get yourself some ride gear then look to put money into the bike. Exhaust easiest and usually the first upgrade on any bike, shave weight gain some hp and sounds amazing depending on what brand. two brothers usually doesn't disappoint.

Having had my Ninja 300 for 3 months now, I'd advise you to get gear (all of it, head to toe) then for the bike, tires (the stock one's suck, especially if your going to be riding in the twisty's, slap on some Pirelli Diablo Rosso II's) then exhaust and then whatever else you want.
