So I just bought my 2009 Kawasaki Ninja ER-6N and its getting cold outside so I haven't been riding it. So today I let my bike run for about two minutes and i see some weird puddle. I traced it to the front of the engine and I am not sure at all but I think it might be coolant because I am sure it isn't engine oil. So if anyone knows for sure what it might be and how to fix it, I would very much appreciate it.

That happened to my ninja 650r the other day as well! I looked at it and smelled it and it seemed to be water coming from a hose.
Looked it up and i think its normal...one of the hoses helps releave vapor pressure or something like that if im not mistaken
But dnt take my word for it im new at this

No one can tell you for sure what it is and how to fix it unless you positively identify the fluid and its source.

Ok I got a better look at the fluid and its neon green looking so Its a coolant leak I just cant figure out where its coming from.I really dont want to go to the dealer if it is something I can fix my self.

From the pictures looks like its coming from the header, unless that's just the trail. Not to familiar with the er.

The 250 has a radiator that is mounted very high and many of the coolant lines and hoses are above the headers, including a remote filler cap and bleed point. I would say that's more like to be the source than the head gasket.
