Hello, just doing my duty and making my first post here. I'm 48, started riding when I was 5 (my dad had a motorcycle shop) and I've been "in" the motorcycle industry every since ... it's just a natural fit, thanks to my dad's influence. I'm a MSF Instructor, an ATV Instructor, a Dirt Bike instructor, and I've been a road-race / track-day coach. I'm a green-blooded Kaw-guy, but I'm a motorcycle enthusiast too; my era-of-preference is late 70s - early 90s, but I can make a case-for-ownership for just about any bike. I've owned well over 50 bikes (even wrote 'em all down once). Anyway, cool site; glad to be here.

Welcome here.

I bought my first Kawasaki in 1973.

For bikes my favorite is my newest, a 2008 Kawasaki ZZR600- my 70s and 80s bikes were less reliable, vibrated more and had weaker power, braking, shifting and handling. The air cooling made me sweat more in the summer.

I still own a 2002 Honda Shadow 600cc cruiser, with the old style V-twin, 4-speeds, but newer water cooling, and about half the vibration of my previous 1978 Yamaha XS650.

For the dozens of bikes you have owned or ridden, which few stand out the most?

Hi, I'm Wayne. Bought a 1982 GPz750 in original state with only 16 k on the clock. Only my second bike as the miss would not allow me but my first was a Z650. what would your opinion be about the 750?
