Default I'm new here. Just bought my first bike

This is my first post. I am a newby. Just bought my first bike a few days ago, 2005 Kawasaki Ninja 500r. Only thing I don't like is my stand-side kickstand. It leans the bike over too far. Is there anywhere I can buy an aftermarket one?

You want the bike to have some lean when on the kick stand. But you will have to be careful when on an incline. Has it been cut? Oh yeah, welcome to the forums. You have a picture yet?

Yes they make adjustable ones.. but it should lean over pretty well.. I mean a good wind will knock a bike over. iv seen it done before. I know anyone that isnt used to bike freak out when they lean mine over my gsxr and my zx10 both lean pretty significantly.

You want it leaning over because as aforementioned the wind could blow the bike over which isn't good. I'd stick with it to be honest just in case

Has the OEM kickstand been shortened? Was the bike previously lowered?

If your side stand is the original length and your bike has not been lowered you are fine. You want it to lean.
