Let me give you a run down of the bike and any help will be greatly appreciated.
I have a 2008 zx6r with a 2009 engine. my 2008 dropped a valve so i changed over to a 2009 thinking this would be easy but apparently not tho.
Everything is working except the injectors are not firing. if i spray gas in the intake it runs great.
What tells the injectors to fire?
I changed the harness, computer, and the other box with 3 plugs with the engine change. I have the 2008 stator rotor thing in the 2009 engine, could this cause this?

Does it have crank sensor? i know the cam sensor was deleted.
fuel pump is working and good pressure, fuel injecotors are doing nothing, neither set. whatever tells them to go, isnt working? I keep thinking grounds, but ive check all of them that i know of and even put ground jumpers to double check. i have the main ground coming off the battery and then i have to small grounds on top of each other bolted to the frame. does anyone know if there is more? or where the computer grounds at?
Okay so I dud that test on the injectors and there getting the power for 3 seconds and going back to 0. Fuel relay is good cause the pump is
pumping. No fuel coming out injectors tho. Looks like ecu? Do you all agree? I bought the ecu off ebay.
If the fuel pump relay is normal, check the ECU for its ground and power supply (see ECU Power Supply Inspection).
If the ground and power supply are good, replace the ECU (see ECU Removal/Installation).
Blackdog, i hate to ask but what section test the power and ground of the ECU itself? I may be checking that wrong. The guy i bought it from is 100 percent positive the ECU is working and that hr drove the bike just before they tore it down to part out. Also do you think there is any other part that could be bad that can tell the computer not to fire the injectors?
Hey guys, I changed the ecu now and same results. Everything works except the injectors. No codes on the ecu. If I unplug any sensor the computer throws the right code. I don't get what it can be when everything says it's working right.
Did you...
Connect a digital meter to the terminals in each primary fuel injector.
Measure the primary fuel injector resistance.
Primary Fuel Injector Resistance
Standard: About 11.7 ∼ 12.3 Ω at 68°F
If the reading is out of the standard, replace the primary fuel injector.
If the reading is within the standard,
check the power source voltage. (3-122)
got the bike running now, bike wont rev past 10k it was a bad fuel pump causing the problems. i thought i had ruled that out when i replaced before but was still bad. now bike runs good but wont rev past 10k same as hitting a rev limiter.
