Are leather track suits designed for every day use.The rason I ask is I bought one off of ebay only had it three months and the leather has split in the ass area where it is in contact with the seat any thoughts. Should I have bought a more expensive brand the alpine star
maybe the fit you got had too much stress in that area. that's why a suit should be tried on because sometimes different brands fit differently in different areas. hope this helps.
i see, you're saying from the rubbing on the seat, the stitching is coming apart.
a good leather place will fix it and reinforce it. it's worth it.
Well, a leather race suit should be able to withstand race riding mishap abuse in case of an accident on the track so I guess that yours isn't of the highest quality.
I 've seen race suits with the whole buttock area damaged and there were no splits.
