Exclamation Please say a prayer for dnaL0R.

Everyone please say a prayer for dnaL0R (Roland for those of you that know him).

He went down on the Angel Crest Highway today while riding with a few friends. Beast was with him and filled me in on what happened which is why I'm posting this up. if I have it right, it seems that he object fixated on a pole sign and hit it head on, there weren't skid marks of any kind and people riding behind him who saw the accident said he had just hit it straight on going around a bend.

He flipped over the bike, the bike flipped over, it hit him and I think he somehow stopped short of sliding 15 feet from the edge of the canyon cliff. From what we know he's unconscious, he's got a punctured lung, a cracked rib and a broken femur and had to be helicoptered to the nearest hospital.

I'm pretty upset about this and almost can't believe it because I was riding with him yesterday. Everyone please say a prayer for him and/or keep him in your thoughts, everything helps. Beast or myself will post up more information on how he's doing as it comes along if we hear anything. Thank you guys.

Such horrible news. A few months ago, when I joined the forum, Roland was so excited about getting his bike. Then to follow his enthusiasm while he made it uniquely his own, resulting in the bike of his dreams. His first rides and his first problems with it were always must reading for me and he always had something unusual to say or a different take on so many things in his posts. Hearing of this terrible accident is such an increadible shock and so saddening. I do so hope that he survives this ordeal intact and with no permanent damage and as quickly as is possible. Please keep us posted on his condition and convey our fervent hopes for his speedy recovery.

That really sux. I hope he will be OK.

With all the crashes we have heard about on here, I hope all you guys (and hotties, I mean girls) seriously think about doing a track or racing school. The money you spend could save your life. If you love motorcycles (like I do), invest in your riding ability and you will be rewarded with a new understanding and appreciation of a great sport that you can do for the rest of your life.

There is so much more to riding than you can teach yourself. Many times being too careful will make you so cautious that you are a danger to yourself. You should be able to be relaxed and have confidence in your riding ability. If you learn on a track you are in a controlled environment with professionals teaching you. If you teach yourself on the street you can only get as good as your own limited knowledge in a dangerous environment.

I hate to hear about people crashing, especially if it could have been avoided by just a little more understanding and experience. Being careful and not riding over your head is important. Knowing what to do in every situation is more important.

Viddy well, little brother. Viddy well.
