Default Installing new clutch cable on 07 250

Do any of you have any helpful how-to's on this? Never done it before and I want to make sure I do it right. Also what is the correct amount of tension/recommended adjustment for these?

My.husband.has done these before.on dirtbikes so he said he'd do it for me but I would much rather do it myself because 1. It is my bike and 2. He has a horrible tendency to half ass everything and take shortcuts whereas I'm more meticulous

Is this a decent step-by-step of the process? I didn't know it involved taking off the fuel tank, my husband said he wouldn't even have to remove a fairing.

I'd recommend taking the fuel tank off. Changing the clutch cable looks very similar to an 08. It'd be a lot easier with the tank off. It just gets in the way really. That step by step process looks really good though.

Well I did it, I did go ahead and take both fairings and the tank off because I'm going to be cleaning my air filter changing the plugs and fuel filter today anyway
It was so easy! Took me all of half an hour total while drinking beer. The hardest part was getting the cable end into the tensioner down by the.engine
I think it still feels a little tight but I haven't taken it for a ride yet and Ill.probably end up adjusting it more later
