So I'm not talking about a short burst of max speed but rather maintaining top speed for minutes at a time.
I didn't trust my speedometer which read 104-110 so I used a GPS app on my phone to try and track. It may still not be 100% accurate but I have a feeling it's more accurate than what he bike was showing.
So, in full crouch (lying on the tank), 6th gear, about 12,000 RPM (redlines at 13). The app said 97.7mph. I'm sure everyone gets different speeds but this was just mine incase anyone was curious to hear it.

I have an 03, same bike. I was out with a large group of big bikes last night and they almost shit when they realized it was a 250 and I kept up with them pretty well running the gauntlet on the highway. My friend on a CBR600RR told me he was doing 105 and I was gaining a lead on him. He said I had to be doing between 110-115mph. For the record I weigh 185 so I'm not the lightest dude. Mind you I do have a few mods.
