Alright, i spent about 4 hours today hitting every place in town attempting to find a washer that will fit under the needle of my 08 250R carb. I couldn't find a single place. I started with home depot then went to a motorcycle store and eventually ended up at a toy and RC car store. No luck. Does anyone have a part # or some identifying value that i can use to get a washer to raise the needle on my 08 250R Carburetor?? maybe a website would be helpful or i will even buy the washer off you if you have 2 preferably 4. also, do these washers have to fit perfectly on the needle? or can they be slightly wide on the pin or around the pin....?

Any and all advice would help.

Just buy a jet kit, the cost will be offset by the lack of aggravation.

Ace Hardware has almost every fastener you could ever need.

SAE #4 washers work as well. Have you tried Radio Shack, Ace Hardware or Lowes?

i found a #4 washer but i was afraid that it would destroy my carb because it doesn't fit perfectly. it is a bit wide compared to the needle and the hole the needle passes through is also wide. will that damage the carb?

I think a jet kit is around $70 and the rivet backing washer should be found in your hardware store in the same area as the rivets. The link in for a refrence only.
