Default 88-07 compatibility to 08+?

I just picked up a 04 ex250 with some broken parts. I searched and saw that most everything from 88-07 is the same. But does anyone know if any other parts are the same from 88-07 to 08+?

Specifically, the stock handlebars. handle bar controls (choke lever, etc), and rear sets? What about anything on the 500 like the handlebars? Just trying to get ready to start buying up some parts and want to see what all I can choose from.

Thanks!
-Cody

I actually was gonna post the same thing I have a 2001 250 and was researching aftermarket parts for the body and most of them are for 08 and up. I wonder if you can still customize the mounting to get these parts to fit the 88-07 generation.
