Angry ;....( my Little red one got hit

HI All,

Just want to get your guys input of what should I do or expect regarding this?

Tuesday morning I got at work on my 2010 250r, Parked on the same spot I always do.

After 30 min, one of my co-worker come to me as said: hey some one just run over your motorcycle, me: no way. look out side the motorcycle got move some how in there is a bit red Tahoe close to my motorcycle.

I got out and see my little res one, and OMG:

Side panels was scratch and crack on right side and front, rear break and foot stand was broken, break fluid was leaking out of master cylinder, exhaust was bent, and kickstand was bent forward.

the owner of the bit Tahoe said: I'm so sorry I didn't see your motorcycle there. WTF???? really?

I create a claim against her insurance and I waiting for her insurance adjuster, but I got a estimate from the shop where my motorcycle is right now, wondering what would be the change to have my motorcycle totaled if the estimate is over $3000 (estimate repair $5200)

See Pictures:

For that much you could buy two 08+ 250 for way less...actually you could a new 300 for that price.

Let her insurance pay for it and then go buy a 650.

That thing's done.

If he bitched and moaned, would it even be possible to get her insurance to pay that $5,100?

doubt it, unless the adjustor is your friend no insurance company will pay more than the value of the bike for repairs.

if offered 4g i'd take it and run with it.

Absolutely. That would get him a 2012 Ninja 250 or put a good dent into a 300.

It was woman? Golly, I'm shocked. At least she stuck around and owned up to it.

Maybe the driver should drive a smaller vehicle before she kills someone.
