A little smoke can be normal especially when it's cold out. Also the fact that the bike has sat outside for a while it could be just a little condensation burning off. Just make sure your oil level is correct. It should be checked with the bike level and off the stand. It should be anywhere between the lower and high mark on the sight glass. As long as the smoke goes away you should be good.
