Hi All.

Looking for some help with my wife's bike. We are trying to lower it with a Soupy's Performance lowering kit. The bike is a 2006 ZZR 250. Is the ZZR 250 and the US Ninja 250 the same specs?

Which forum is the best to ask these kind of questions?

Thanks for any help.:smile2:

I used this kit on my sweethearts 2012 250, the package include the handlebar risers and kickstand, the geometry is still off, but tolerable. More important was the ability to put both feet "flat" on the ground.

All I needed was a car jack, I tied the handlebars between two columns, to keep the bike from falling over, when jacking up the rear. Everything was pretty simple to do.

I didn't see a 2006 compatible set up on the website though.

Thanks for the response.

They have a full lowering kit for 86 to 2007 Ninja 250. I contacted a Dealer in Canada and they told me the ZZR 250 is the same bike as the Ninja 250. I have already installed the bar riser after having to bore the fork tube hole out .035". The spacers for the rear link are to small and the original bolt is not long enough. The ZZR 250 came standard with a centre stand. Made the job easy.

Thanks.
Dale
