I ordered a new chain and sprocket set for my 09 250r, while trying to remove the front sprocket my dumb self actually tightened it, now I was using a small wrench but I did hear a weird kinda of screech, . Was this the motor turning backwards, and os one able to turn it over by hand like that? Have I done any damage?

I dig the monkey! I took the bike around the block and all seams to be well. The main reason I started to take things apart is because when I push the bike in "N" there is a clicking sound. I put the bike on the stand and removed the chain, if I spin the front sprocket (by hand) there is no sound. I put the chain back on and spin it there is a clicking, The chain has to be hitting somewhere because its got a hiccup as it comes up to/ off the chain guard. I have looked for a few hours and cant find anything. I am 95% positive the rear wheel is aligned as well. Any ideas ??

Usually, you get a "click" when the chain is loose and when it tightens up by placing it in gear.

While pushing it in neutral it may just be the chain meshing into the sprocket.
sometimes the chain will stretch in some parts but not in others.

check the wear...

If it click click clicks upon acceleration you need a new chain and sprockets.

the string alignment is a good methods to use for your bike, the video shows the principle (though not exactly how I do it)
