Default 250 coils on ex500?
I have a 95 ex500. My buddy a few towns away has a '07 250 that was crashed. the coils look the same and all. will the coils from the 250 work on the 500?

Check that the part numbers are the same. If they're not you might find that the primary windings don't match the ignition amplifiers in your ecu.

If that happens it might work for while then cause the ecu to fail.

Sorry bud, they wont work. I tried that on my 94. But the good news is a set of coils is only around 30 on ebay.
