On the woodcraft site it only has 06-08 and 09-11. Any idea if it's the same part for the 2012s? I might just shoot them an email.
ended up emailing them.. this is what they came back with regarding the 2012 models, which i assume applies to 2013 models.
Thanks for the email, and it's good that you checked in. We have been
told that the new bike is indeed different. With that information, we
have recently arranged to get a bike in here before the end of the month
and get everything all worked out. I would expect that we will have a
kit all ready for this bike in February.
Where the best online place to get a whole fairing kit for 08 Kawasaki 250r?
Kind of a random place to ask this question, since this thread is about a 2012 650 and nothing to do with a 250, but try the ninja 250 section instead, there's plenty of info on the 250's there and I'm sure if you search, the question you are asking is most likely already answered.
I really like the mods. With the white color it really looks high class. I found this post after I had bought my own 2013 650 (white). I am going a similar route. I just plasti-dipped the windscreen and put on red rim tape. The rim tape I bought was speed metal. It broke a couple times putting it on while I was being careful none the less. They provided about a foot of extra tape so It was easy to put a little "band-aid" over the broken spots here and there. Can't really tell unless you get up to about a foot or so away, but I will likely redo them myself. I thought the windscreen I did turned out top-notch, although it almost looks too black as compared to the rest bikes plastics, but I may be nit-picking.
Next on my list are sport bars and a tail tidy. I will be doing frame sliders as well, but I am not to keen on the "no-mod" kind. I read in another post that after somebody laid their bike down, all it did was snap off the frame slider. His bike was still damaged and on top of that he probably has to drill out the install location as well.
On a side note, StW, those monster stickers look sick in red. I was looking for some the other day and all I could find are green.
Hey everyone I'll be making a walk around video of all my mods I've done to my new 650! Hope this helps anybody thinking about doing any mods themselves.
Hey, Nice job, I just got my bike, identical to yours. Where did you get the decals on fairing? What was entailed to install the frame sliders? Was it easy to remove fairing or did you have to take it off for install?
