Strange, i've seen other bikes that does not have the lever touch the plate. Either u got a bad plate, or bad fitting job or a bent lever.

I'd say the issue is with the brake pedal. The plate looks identical to the one on my bike, and I have clearance.

Has the bike ever been dropped on that side?

You guys know you can adjust the brake pedal height, right?

Perhaps it's just adjusted rather high for some reason.

All that said you shouldn't be here asking us, you should be at the shop that performed the recall taking the issue up with them. If they fucked something up, they should be rectifying the issue.

Yeah if I can just adjust the brake pedal than i would rather do that then take it back and have them hack on it some more. I don't like going to dealers at all.

If it's adjusted properly and it still does that you need to take it back to the dealer.

Their problem, they need to fix it.
